In this hands-on class, we will learn how to make 2 soft cheeses from scratch. We'll transform local milk into soft, fresh mozzarella, perfect for pairing with seasonal tomatoes for a Caprese salad, and fresh ricotta that can be used in dishes from breakfast, all the way through dessert.
Each student will receive an Urban Cheesecraft Mozzarella & Ricotta kit to use for the class, and take home at the end.
I will have seasonings on hand to spice up your cheese however you like, as well as the necessary ingredients to turn your freshly made mozzarella into a Caprese salad, to enjoy just as it is made...my favorite way!
Don't dress up, we may get a little messy!
